Principal's Message
Dear Eastside Families,
As we approach the end of the year and prepare for our extended
holiday break, we want to emphasize the importance of regular
attendance. When we return from our break in January, we will be
conducting our mid-year assessments. These assessments are crucial in
measuring your child's progress and identifying areas where they may
need additional support. Consistent attendance ensures that your child
is fully prepared and can perform their best.
We are also excited to invite you to our Winter Family Celebration on
December 18th from 5:00-7:00. This event is a wonderful opportunity
for families to come together and celebrate the season with fun
activities and refreshments. We hope to see you all there!
One of our school-wide goals this year is to have 80% of Eastside
students become proficient readers by the end of the school year.
Achieving this goal requires a strong partnership between the school
and families. Remember, you are your child's first teacher and can
significantly impact their learning journey. I encourage you to message
your child’s teacher for ideas about supporting learning in the home.
Thank you for your continued support and dedication to your child's
education. Together, we can help every student at Eastside reach their
full potential.
Warm regards,
Kara Davidson
