Second Grade
Second graders in Mrs Seets class have been studying Ancient Asian Civilizations. Rivers are an important part of ancient civilizations because they not only give people water, but also help keep the soil fertile to grow crops! We have learned that rivers start at the top of mountains , and flow downward, eventually ending in the ocean. Students made a model by creating a mountain range, putting ink on the high points, and making it rain!
