As winter finally begins to ease in Coos Bay, it can only mean one thing – it is time to spring into kindergarten at Madison and Eastside schools.
Starting April 17 and running through May 26, both Madison and Eastside will host kindergarten roundup to sign up students who will be venturing into school next fall.
Any child who will be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2023, is welcome to register for kindergarten.
Parents are asked to pre-register by visiting https://forms.gle/P8AHocswAagxjDKNA. All parents who pre-register will be contacted by school staff to set up an appointment for registration.
To register a child, parents need to bring proof of age such as a birth certificate, immunization records, custody documents (if applicable) and a $35 supply fee.
All students who pre-register will receive a free backpack for the upcoming school year.
